Tempe and Scottsdale are popular places…but it all depends on what you are looking for. Do you want to be out in the suburbs, downtown, close to all the entertainment etc…… If you get something in East Phoenix, you can be in almost every surounding city within 20 minutes.

Do you know where can i found an apartment or condo rentals for a week for vacation in San Antonio, tx?

i’m going on vacation at easter but i’m planning to stay at least a week, and i think tha might be cheaper to rent a furnished apartment or house or condo, so i’m looking for properties available for rent for a week, those vacation rentals properties… anyway, help me please… thank you

What are the important things to do before renting out a vacation property?

And I don’t mean how to decorate, but rather things like certificates, permits, insurance, legal docs, etc… things to avoid? Also perhaps anyone knows the best way to market it? I know there are a few websites out there that let you list a property and accept cc pmts, show calendars and so on. Whats the best one?
The property is in upstate NY.

Wow! I’m jealous! I’ve always dreamed of having a vacation home that I could rent out during the off season!!

First, I would contact my insurance company and ask about renter’s insurance, then I would get assistance from my family lawyer about drawing up a renter’s contract agreement (he’s probably going to come up with stuff you’ve never even considered covering!)

As far as marketing it – I would contact the local Chamber of Commerce and see what they have to offer.

I would also look into a cleaning company that would take care of the place when folks leave — sounds like a LOT of research, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it knowing all your bases are covered. I wish you well in your new endeavor! God bless!

Does anyone know where is a good place to invest in a lakeside vacation property that is affordable?

i’m looking for a lakefront vacation home near california. It can be any states near and around california….price range $100,000-350,000. A community with lots of greenery and trees near a lake.

We have Plenty of green and mountains to die for!! Check out the lake district near Queenstown Its AWESOME

Shania Twain & her husband has a mother of a place down there and has even built huts there for the trampers/hikers to use.
