buy small ?… does it pay for its self ? get a duplex.? how would anyone that hasnt had a house rental service start .. is it very hard?
It is not hard at all as long as you do the proper research. Make sure that you have a good team. That should include a good accountant, lawyer, real estate agent, and management company. They can either make or cost you money. Also, a good website is www.huduser.org. I gives you the fair market rents in a given area. Use that as a guide. Also, remember this formula. Cost of home/120=monthly rent. The idea is if a home costs $100,000 you should at least charge for rent $833 a month. If you can’t get that rent, then it’s not a good rental investment.
Anyways, start small. You need to see if you can do this. If you start small, and you lose out, you lose small. A duplex is good as well. The way you need to look at that is you are actually buying two units. For example… If you buy a duplex for $100,000 you are basically buying two $50,000 units. Can you rent out each unit for $416 a month? Basically, another rule of thumb I like to use is that after all of your costs, you need to make per unit at least $100 a month cash money for it to be worth your time. Anyways, good luck with this and I hope this gives you some help.

i look on craigs list all the time but most of the houses on there are spam of a fake. I need to move out of my apartment and into a house. please help!!!!
honestly i am an apartment locator and you cant really get a house rental listing just because there are so many and most are private owners that dont advertise past a sign on the front lawn. people always think we are lying when we say its really hard to find a house for them just for that reason. you can try some property management companies they have some listings but only houses under them

I’m moving to Canada in June and need to start doing some research, I’ve been looking but can’t seem to find a really good one, thanks!
If you already know the city or area you are moving to, go to links for that area and find real estate agents and classified newspaper ads for rental properties. Because Canada is such a huge country there isn’t really one good central location to look for rental accommodations. You need to look in the right places for the right area.

Hey everyone. Dana Ward here and this is Clevver TV.
So, the house from the popular show Jersey Shore is up for grabs. Its not for sale, but it is available to rent, starting at 35-hundred bucks a night. According to the realtor, prices go up for holidays to about 65-hundred per night, even reaching 15-thousand-dollars for Forth of July weekend. Everything from the tv show like the duck phone and Italian flag theme is included in the 6-bed 3-bath house except for the hot tub. Im thinking thats probably a good thing.
Even though the JS house is available now since the cast heads to Miami for season-2, its rumored the Italian stallions, including Snookie and the Situation, will be returning to the Shore for more production.

I have checked out a few sites, but am still looking. I need to move by nov.1 so I’m frantically looking. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated =)
Rent.com. Also try to Apartment Finders. I used them when moving from Kansas to Florida. They were the best, the complex paid the fees. I found a good apartment and did it all over the internet. Some of these sites will have virtual tours.

I am looking to rent at least a 4 bedroom 2-bath house in Riverside, California. Budget can handle maybe $1,000.00/month. Anything good out there?
I know about the newspaper, etc. I was asking people for their personal reference.
look in the newspaper in the classifieds and real esate section. they advertise single family homes for rent.
